Mepet Metro Petrol ve Tesisleri Sanayi Ticaret AS said its normalized net income for the second quarter came to 652,660 lira, an increase of 7.9% from 604,940 lira in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 1.3% from 1.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased year over year to 51.9 million lira from 52.9 million lira, and total operating expenses decreased on an annual basis to 50.6 million lira from 51.3 million lira.
Reported net income grew 26.8% on an annual basis to 740,180 lira, or 1 kurus per share, from 583,680 lira, or 1 kurus per share.
As of July 29, US$1 was equivalent to 2.76 Turkish lira.
