OrotonGroup Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Jan. 23 came to 9 Australian cents per share, a gain of 43.5% from 6 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$3.7 million, a gain of 44.1% from A$2.6 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 11.5% on an annual basis to A$74.6 million from A$66.9 million, and total operating expenses rose 11.3% on an annual basis to A$68.3 million from A$61.4 million.
Reported net income grew 72.5% from the prior-year period to A$3.8 million, or 9 cents per share, from A$2.2 million, or 5 cents per share.
