CoBiz Financial ups dividend

CoBiz FinancialInc.'s board declared a quarterly cash dividend of 5 cents percommon share, payable Aug. 8 to shareholders of record Aug. 1.

The Denver-based company's previous dividend was 4.5 cents pershare, per SNL data.

CoBiz reported second-quarter net income available to commonshareholders of $8.5 million, or 21 cents per share, compared to $7.2 million,or 17 cents per share, for the year-ago period.

The company said that resolution of an impaired creditresulted in a negative provision for loan losses of $1.7 million in the secondquarter.
