Equinor completes sales of Norwegian Continental Shelf noncore discoveries

Equinor said Dec. 28 that it completed the sales, announced in October, of two noncore discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The company sold its 77.8% operated interest in the King Lear discovery to Aker BP ASA for $250 million.

In a separate deal, Equinor sold its nonoperated interests of 42.38% in Tommeliten Unit (PL044 TA) and 30% in PL044 to PGNiG Upstream Norway AS for $220 million.
