Bon Fame Q2 profit climbs 28.6% YOY

Bon Fame Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the second quarter came to NT$1.25 per share, an increase of 28.6% from 97 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$65.8 million, an increase of 28.6% from NT$51.2 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 9.8% from 8.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 7.1% on an annual basis to NT$672.9 million from NT$628.2 million, and total operating expenses climbed 7.2% on an annual basis to NT$581.1 million from NT$541.9 million.

Reported net income grew 25.0% on an annual basis to NT$94.8 million, or NT$1.80 per share, from NT$75.8 million, or NT$1.44 per share.
