St. Joe releases update on Fla. assets in wake of Hurricane Michael

St. Joe Co. said the majority of its assets in Florida's Walton and Bay counties sustained minimal to no damage from Hurricane Michael.

The diversified real estate company said The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach, WaterSound Inn, WaterColor Inn & Resort, WaterSound Beach Club and Camp Creek golf course remain operational, with the Shark's Tooth Golf Course expected to resume operations during the week ending Oct. 20 after a tree cleanup.

Of all the facilities, St. Joe said only Bay Point Marina and Port St. Joe Marina in Bay County and Gulf County, respectively, incurred significant loss and will require long-term renovation.
