Gothaer Asset Management AG aims to inject up to €100 million for the development of new nursery facilities in Germany to mark the maiden investment of a newly established fund, IPE Real Assets reported.
The investments, slated for October, are part of the German insurer's diversification into childcare property. Markus Habbig, head of real estate at Gothaer Asset Management, told the publication that the Gothaer group intends to increase its real estate assets to 10% by 2020 from 8.4%.
