Craft Brew Alliance Inc. said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter was 7 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 7 cents per share.
EPS climbed 71.8% year over year from 4 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $1.3 million, a gain of 72.0% from $770,000 in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 2.7% from 1.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose year over year to $49.2 million from $47.4 million, and total operating expenses increased year over year to $47.0 million from $46.0 million.
Reported net income rose 74.4% on an annual basis to $1.3 million, or 7 cents per share, from $769,840, or 4 cents per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 12 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of 12 cents.
EPS declined 27.3% from 17 cents in the prior year.
Normalized net income was $2.3 million, a decrease of 27.1% from $3.2 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue rose year over year to $204.2 million from $200.0 million, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to $199.9 million from $194.3 million.
The company said reported net income decreased 24.8% year over year to $2.3 million, or 12 cents per share, in the full year, from $3.1 million, or 16 cents per share.
