Amazon.com Inc. is hiring 3,000 remote workers in the U.S., CNBC reported March 11, citing a job listing on the company's website.

According to the job listing, the e-commerce giant will pay $15 per hour for the seasonal work from home jobs to support its customer service.

Amazon is looking to hire candidates from 18 states including Texas, Washington, Arkansas, Mississippi, New Mexico and Arizona.
