Asiamet extends high-grade polymetallic mineralization at BKZ prospect

Asiamet Resources Ltd. intersected further near-surface, high-grade base and precious metals mineralization along strike of earlier hits at its BKZ prospect in Indonesia.

The BKZ prospect is about 800 meters north of the BKM deposit, which forms part of the company's KSK property in Central Kalimantan province.

Drilling focused on a zone of massive sulfide outcrops, and highlights from two of six drillholes include 3.2 meters at 1.15 g/t of gold and 67.8 g/t of silver from 1.8 meters, and 7.0 meters at 3.7% zinc, 1.3% lead, 46 g/t of silver, 0.24 g/t of gold and 1.0% copper from 5.0 meters.

Asiamet said Oct. 3 that these results provide confidence for a potential standalone, high-grade polymetallic deposit.
