Ukrainian lender gets approval for management board chairman appointment

PJSC West Finance and Credit Bank said Igor Tykhonov will officially begin his tenure as chairman of the bank's management board, effective Feb. 21, following approval by the National Bank of Ukraine on Feb. 20.

Tykhonov, who has been serving as deputy chairman of the Ukrainian lender's management board since 2015, was appointed chairman by the bank's supervisory board Dec. 18, 2017. Before receiving regulatory approval, Tykhonov was serving as acting chairman.

The bank is known as Creditwest Bank.
