Report: SoftBank not eyeing Yahoo assets

SoftBank GroupCorp. is not interested in making a play for 's assets and instead wantsto end the payment of annual fees to the Internet company, Re/code reportedApril 7, citing sources close to the situation.

According to sources, SoftBank has reportedly been in talkswith Yahoo's management in recent months about ending the annual payments, whichnow total around $240 million and are related to fees for branding, technologyand search.
