Central Reinsurance Corp. lowered its dividend for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2016, to 5 Taiwan cents per share from the prior-year dividend of 7 cents per share.

The dividend will be distributed to shareholders on July 13.

As of May 31, US$1 was equivalent to NT$30.08.
