Troy Insurance employee Allison Gagliardi bought the insuranceagency from its founder, Paul Troy, the Stamford(Conn.) Advocate reported April 7.

Gagliardi will operate the business in Stamford. She intendsto retain the Troy Insurance brand, according to the report.

Troy Insurance offers P&C insurance for individuals and businesses,and life insurance and coverage for travel-related losses.
