Export-Import Bank of China is expected to officially appoint Wu Fulin president of the bank after obtaining regulatory approvals, Caixin reported Jan. 20, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Wu has been serving as an executive vice president of Bank of China Ltd. since late 2018. If appointed to the top post at Export-Import Bank of China, he will replace Zhang Qingsong, who left the policy bank in September 2019 to assume the same role at Agricultural Bank of China Ltd., the report added.
