Florida insurance regulator names chief of staff

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has appointed Michael Yaworsky as chief of staff, replacing Belinda Miller, who retired in July, Insurance Journal reported.

The change was effective July 24. Yaworsky was previously legal counsel for the Georgia Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner.

The Florida regulator also named two deputy commissioners in March, according to the report. Susanne Murphy was named deputy commissioner of property and casualty, while Eric Johnson was made deputy commissioner of life and health.
