Westhaven kicks off 1,500-meter drill program at Prospect Valley gold property

Westhaven Ventures Inc. said Sept. 29 that it has started drilling at the Prospect Valley gold property in British Columbia.

The 1,500-meter diamond drill program will mainly test the down-dip extension of the Early Fault zone, which remains open to the west, aiming to further expand and outline the extent of the epithermal gold system present on the property.

Additionally, drilling will test the southeastward continuation of the magnetic low and corresponding gold-in-soil anomaly south of the Discovery zones.

In February, Westhaven agreed to acquire the remaining 30% interest in the 10,871-hectare Prospect Valley property from joint venture partner Berkwood Resources Ltd.
