Tekla Healthcare Investors renews share buyback program

The board of Tekla Healthcare Investors has approved a renewal of its share repurchase program, allowing the fund to acquire in the open market up to 12% of its outstanding common shares.

The renewed buyback program will run for a one-year period that ends July 14, 2020.

The program aims to raise the fund's net asset value per share and provide additional liquidity in the trading of its shares.
