Quantum Energy fiscal H1 loss narrows YOY

Quantum Energy Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2015, came to a loss of A$61,500, compared with a loss of A$2.2 million in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue rose on an annual basis to A$32.2 million from A$15.5 million, and total operating expenses grew 75.3% from the prior-year period to A$30.6 million from A$17.5 million.

Reported net income rose year over year to A$782,000, or 0 cents per share, from A$220,000, or 0 cents per share.
