Encana Corp.said that it has increased the aggregate maximum amount that holders of thenotes of its previously announced tenderoffers are entitled to receive to C$400 million, from C$250 million.
The increased aggregate amount excludes accrued and unpaidinterest, according to Encana's Form 6-K filed March 30. All other terms andconditions of the tender offers remain unchanged.
The withdrawal deadline expired at 5 p.m. ET on March 29,and will not be extended in case the company further increases the aggregatemaximum tender amount.
Encana will accept for purchase on March 30 all the 5.15%senior notes due 2041 and 6.50% senior notes due 2038 validly tendered at orprior to March 29. The 6.625% senior notes due 2037 validly tendered at orprior to March 29 will be prorated and accepted for purchase on March 30. Noneof the 6.50% senior notes due 2034 validly tendered at or prior March 29 willbe accepted for purchase, according to the filing.
