CMC Metals Ltd. said Oct. 16 that it acquired the Golden Point gold prospect, comprising 87 claims totaling 1,518 hectares, in British Columbia's Golden Triangle region.

Golden Point is located about 25 kilometers north-northeast of Teck Resources Ltd.'s Galore Creek project and features some historic work.

The property was acquired by staking via MTOnline.
