Groupe BPCE adds 2 to management committee, names deputy CEO, head of risk

Groupe BPCE named Stéphanie Paix deputy CEO in charge of general inspection and Géraud Brac de La Perrière as head of risk.

Both will report to Groupe BPCE Chairman Laurent Mignon.

Paix, who has chaired the Caisse d'Épargne et de Prévoyance de Rhône Alpes management board since 2012, will join the group in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, La Perrière will assume his new position effective January 2019. He is currently general inspector at Groupe BPCE.

Moreover, Banque Populaire Aquitaine Centre Atlantique SA CEO Dominique Garnier was named deputy CEO in charge of steering and coordinating Groupe BPCE's integration project for the factoring, sureties and guarantees, leasing, consumer finance and securities services activities.

The French financial group also appointed Christine Fabresse deputy CEO in charge of retail banking and insurance.

Fabresse, who has served as chairperson of Caisse d'Épargne du Languedoc Roussillon's management board since 2013, and Garnier, who has been CEO of Banque Populaire Aquitaine Centre Atlantique since November 2011, will also join the group's general management committee.
