Peako Ltd. was granted the 60.80-square-kilometer exploration license, E45/3278, part of its Sunday Creek uranium project in Western Australia's Paterson region.

The grant by the state's Department of Mines and Petroleum follows the recent land access and minerals exploration agreement executed with the Western Desert Lands Aboriginal Corp., the company said Oct. 6.

Peako is looking to acquire and assess past exploration data to design an exploration work program for Sunday Creek.
