Petrol d.d. Q3 profit climbs 16.4% YOY

Petrol d.d. said its third-quarter normalized net income came to €8.49 per share, a gain of 16.4% from €7.29 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €17.5 million, an increase of 16.4% from €15.0 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 2.4% from 2.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to €743.4 million from €755.8 million, and total operating expenses declined on an annual basis to €715.3 million from €727.1 million.

Reported net income rose 8.2% on an annual basis to €23.4 million, or €11.33 per share, from €21.6 million, or €10.48 per share.
