Apple to debut unscripted reality TV show

AppleInc. is working to debut an unscripted reality TV show, called"Planet of the Apps," reported July 12, citing an opencasting call for the series.

The show, which will focus on "app economy," is beingexecutive produced by, Ben Silverman, and Howard Owens, according toa July 12 news release. Apple is co-producing the show in partnership withPropagate.

Shooting of the new show is reportedly expected to startlater in 2016 and run through the start of 2017 in Los Angeles. The premieredate of "Planet of the Apps," however, was not disclosed.
