KBL Mining Ltd.said July 13 that it has resumednormal operations at the Pearse pit of its Mineral Hill gold mine in New South Wales, Australia, afterrestoring a failed road that hindered access to the ore mining zone.

A severe weather event in early June had forced production tocome to a standstill. The company now plans to mine and process the pit's remaining19,000 ounces of gold, worth some A$34 million, in the next six months.

During June and early July ore supply to the mill was restrictedto treatment of gold tailings and lower grade oxide stockpiles.
