AmericanElectric Power Co. Inc. on April 26 said it appointed Lonni Dieckas senior vice president and treasurer.

Dieck — currently AEP's senior vice president for corporate planningand budgeting — will replace Julie Sloat, who was recently president and COO of AEP Ohio.

Meanwhile, Oliver Sever will replace Dieck as senior vicepresident of corporate planning and budgeting. Sever currently serves asmanaging director of financial forecasting for AEP.

The changes are effective May 2.

Both Dieck and Sever will report to Brian Tierney, executivevice president and CFO of AEP.

AEP Ohio is the trade name of Ohio Power Co.
