Report: Stockholder group asks Amazon CEO to cease sale of Trump merchandise

UltraViolet, a group of 1,500 stockholders, askedAmazon CEO Jeff Bezos to cease the sale of Donald Trump merchandise on theretail website, according to a May 9 report by the New York Post.

Reportedly, in the letter to Bezos, Ultraviolet citedTrump's "misogyny, racism and outright bigotry" as a reason for thisdemand. According to the report, the group also said that selling Trump'smerchandise will affect the reputation of Amazon.

An Amazon spokesman declined to comment on the matter.
