Revolut names Ulster Bank Ireland exec to lead its Irish operations

British financial technology company Revolut Ltd. named Ulster Bank Ireland DAC's chief administrative officer, Joe Heneghan, as its new CEO for Ireland, replacing William Keane, who is joining a new startup, The Irish Times reported.

Revolut, which has applied for an electronic money license from the Irish central bank, advertised for multiple roles in the country, including a new CFO and a chief risk officer, the publication said.

The news comes after the digital firm appointed Deutsche Bank AG's global head of liquidity models and methodologies, Wolfgang Bardorf, as its new treasurer, amid its plans to transform into a global banking entity.
