Old Republic settles long-running BofA suit

Old RepublicInternational Corp. has settled its with

Old Republic reached a preliminary claims settlement with andBank of America NA inSeptember 2015. The settlement is now final and all proceedings between theparties have been dismissed. Indemnity and litigation costs associated with thesettlement are within established reserves, Old Republic said in a May 6quarterly filing.

BofA and Old Republic had been engaged in a variety of legalactions involving pre-financial crisis mortgage guaranty policies.
