EchoStarCorp. CFO and Treasurer David Rayner will now also serve as companyCOO, according to a Form 8-K filed Oct. 3.

The company also added the role of chief strategy officer toAnders Johnson, president of EchoStar Satellite Services LLC.

Rayner returned to EchoStar in 2012 after serving as financechief for a Colorado-based software firm. Johnson, meanwhile, worked for formerSES SA unit SES WorldSkies before joiningEchoStar.

The appointments took effect Sept. 30.
