Former CloudLock Inc. executive Bernd Leger has joined Checkmarx Inc., an application security software company, as chief marketing officer.

In this role, Leger will head Checkmarx's worldwide marketing organization, the company said March 20.

Leger previously served CloudLock, a provider of cloud access security broker services, as a marketing chief.
