Doray MineralsLtd. said April 8 that it has begun the first stage of commissioningof the 480,000-tonne-per-annum processing plant at its Deflector gold project in Western Australia.
The first parcels of waste material are being fed to the crusherand will be followed by the commissioning of the ball mill and flotation circuit.
Commissioning of the entire plant is expected to be completedby the end of May.
Meanwhile, Doray has also started stockpiling high-grade orefrom the open pit onto the newly completed run-of-mine pad.
Mining and production from the underground mine are slated tobegin in June.
Doray said it is on track to increase its gold production to140,000 ounces per annum from the middle of the year.
The company added the Deflector project to its portfolio withthe completion of itsacquisition of fellowASX-listed gold player Mutiny GoldLtd. in March 2015.
