Dr Wu Skincare Q3 profit climbs 7.0% YOY

Dr.Wu Skincare Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to NT$1.42 per share, an increase of 7.0% from NT$1.33 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$60.1 million, a gain of 7.0% from NT$56.2 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 24.1% from 28.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 25.2% year over year to NT$249.0 million from NT$198.9 million, and total operating expenses climbed 47.9% year over year to NT$163.4 million from NT$110.4 million.

Reported net income rose 9.5% on an annual basis to NT$80.4 million, or NT$1.90 per share, from NT$73.4 million, or NT$1.73 per share.
