CubeDistrict Energy said April 7 that it acquired four landfill gas-to-energyfacilities near Atlanta, Ga., from EIVCapital and MASEnergy. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Thefour facilities have an aggregate gross capacity in excess of 30 MW, accordingto a news release. One of the facilities sells its output to Coca-Cola Inc.,while the other three will sell their outputs to Southern Co. subsidiary upon completion bymid-2016. All power purchase agreements have a 20-year term.
Withthe recent deal, Cube District Energy said it now has six systems acrossMassachusetts, Ohio and Georgia, producing an aggregate of 290 MW.
