Pioneer ResourcesLtd. said April 6 that it has acquired through pegging a 100% interestin the Phillips River lithium project in Western Australia.
The project comprises three exploration license applicationsthat cover around 340 square kilometers of area considered prospective for lithiumspodumene-bearing pegmatites.
Following the grant of the tenements, the company is planningto conduct geochemistry, aeromagnetic surveys, mapping and drilling at the projectduring the third quarter.
Pioneer also said it plans to drill the Acra gold project to further test new targets identifiedat the Deep River and Kalpini West prospects. Infill and extensional drilling atthe Kalpini South gold deposit is also being planned.
