Eni grants Shelf Drilling new contract, extends another

Italy's Eni S.p.A. on Oct. 5 granted a contract to a Shelf Drilling Ltd. subsidiary for jack-up drilling unit Key Singapore for operations in the Adriatic Sea offshore Italy.

Eni also awarded a contract extension to the Key Manhattan unit.

The contract with Key Singapore is for two years and has an expected start-up window of May to July 2019. It also includes a one-year option period. The contract value was not disclosed.

The Key Manhattan contract will be extended until July 2021. The unit has been working with Eni offshore Italy since 2010.
