Online loan marketplace operator LendingTree Inc. has hired Sushil Sharma to take on the role of chief product officer.

Sharma has more than 18 years of product management and technology experience, most recently as chief product officer of Match.com, an online dating service.

In addition, Nikul Patel, who previously held the position of chief product and strategy officer at LendingTree, now serves as chief strategy officer of the company.
