Bank of Communications makes board changes

made several changes to its board, including the appointment of Peter Wong TungShun as the board's vice chairman.

Among otherpositions, Wong currently serves as CEO of Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd. which is asubstantial shareholder of Bank of Communications, the bank said in an April 28filing.

The bankalso named Liu Hanxing, Liu Haoyang and Luo Mingde as nonexecutive directors.Jason Yeung Chi Wai, Danny Quah and Wang Neng were named as independentnonexecutive directors.

The newappointees will replace Ma Qiang, Zhang Yuxia, Peter Hugh Nolan, Chen Zhiwu andChoi Yiu-kwan whose terms are set to expire at the date of the annual generalmeeting.

Further,the bank named Zhao Yuguo, Liu Mingxing and Zhang Lili as shareholderrepresentative supervisors, while Xia Zhihua was named as external supervisor.

Thenominees will replace Teng Tieqi, Dong Wenhua, Li Jin and Gao Zhongyuan who areset to step down as shareholder representative supervisors. Lu Jiahui is alsoset to retire as external supervisor.

The newappointments are subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
