Caterpillar Financial Services secures revolving credit facility

Caterpillar Financial Services Corp. on Sept. 5 entered into an unsecured revolving credit facility agreement, which provides for total borrowings of up to $3.15 billion.

The credit facility is set to expire Sept. 3, 2020, and it replaces the previous facility entered in September 2018. The company also entered into an addendum to allow its unit Caterpillar International Finance Designated Activity Co. to borrow in certain currencies, such as pound sterling and euros, up to an amount equal to $100 million. Caterpillar Financial Services also entered into an agreement to allow unit Caterpillar Finance Kabushiki Kaisha to borrow up to $100 million in yen.
