TerraCom locks in coal sales of 520,000 tonnes from Blair Athol mine

TerraCom Ltd. said June 8 that it secured sales of 520,000 tonnes of coal from its Blair Athol mine in Queensland, Australia, at a forecast average price of US$92 per tonne.

The company will also look to lock in another 130,000 tonnes of sales in the coming weeks to complete the forecast sales of 650,000 tonnes for the September quarter. The forecast average selling price should deliver a margin above A$54/t.

TerraCom noted that coal sale volumes and prices for the June quarter are in line with the forecast of 532,000 tonnes at US$78/t, which will ensure the company completes the financial year strongly.
