Transom Capital buys Seattle area salon company

Operations-focused middle-market private equity firm Transom Capital Group LLC purchased Gene Juarez Salons & Spas for an undisclosed sum.

The seller is middle-market private equity firm Evergreen Pacific Partners, which acquired Gene Juarez Salons in 2006 from founder Gene Juarez, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data.

Gene Juarez is a fashion and beauty brand with 10 salon and spa locations in the Seattle area.

O'Melveny was the M&A counsel for Transom Capital, while D.A. Davidson & Co. was financial adviser to Gene Juarez on the deal.
