Southern Gold Ltd.said April 11 that drilling at its Monument prospect returned 7 meters at 2.20 g/tof gold from 42 meters in a newly interpreted fault zone, extending mineralization.
The drilling concentrated on the northern section of the mineralizedtrend and confirmed the continuity of mineralized felsic intrusions under the newgeological model.
The mineralization is open downdip and along strike at depthwith potential for JORC-compliant resources after infill drilling.
The Monument prospect is located 800 meters southwest of theCannon gold mine, part of the company's Bulong gold project in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
