New Age Beverages Q2 loss widens YOY

New Age Beverages Corp. said its second-quarter normalized net income amounted to a loss of $300,490, compared with a loss of $78,920 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 50.9% from negative 9.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 16.2% year over year to $940,010 from $808,730, and total operating expenses grew 44.2% on an annual basis to $1.3 million from $934,590.

Reported net income totaled $19,220, or 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of $126,270, or a loss of 1 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
