Moody's withdraws Generali Leben's insurance financial strength rating

Moody's on Dec. 18 withdrew Generali Lebensversicherung AG's A3 insurance financial strength rating, citing its own business reasons.

The outlook on the rating was negative at the time of withdrawal.

The agency's last ratings action on Generali Leben was Oct. 2, when it affirmed the Generali Deutschland AG unit's insurance financial strength rating while revising the outlook to negative from stable.

Generali is the ultimate parent of Generali Leben and Generali Deutschland.
