Report: VTB to sell Sberbank eurobonds

JSC VTB Bank wants to sell a portfolio of eurobonds issued by PAO Sberbank of Russia in 2014, news agency TASS reported Dec. 14.

The value of Sberbank bonds put up for sale by VTB amounts up to €460 million. The state-controlled lender will carry out the transaction via its unit VTB Capital.

Sberbank issued the eurobond, totaling €500 million, before the imposition of Western sanctions in 2014. The securities are set to mature in March 2019, the news report noted.
