Zalando pilots exchange service in Austria

Online retailer Zalando SE said Dec. 15 that it has launched a trial run of its Order Exchange service in Austria.

Order Exchange lets Zalando account users exchange an item for a different size and hand the previously bought item to the mail carrier as they deliver the new product. The service improves the return process and saves customers a trip to the post office, the company said.

The Order Exchange pilot was developed during Zalando's Hack Week, where its tech employees come up with new ideas and work on new projects for the company.
