Robinsons Land enters logistics, mulls foray into co-working, dormitory RE

Robinsons Land Corp. President and COO Frederick Go said the Philippines-based developer is considering venturing into the dormitory and shared office space businesses, following the launch of its first warehousing project in the country, The Philippine Star reported.

During a briefing after the company's annual stockholders' meeting, Go said the entry could provide new revenue sources for the company. According to the June 1 report, Robinsons Land is aiming to grow its portfolio's gross leasable area to 1.508 million square meters by 2018-end from 1.389 million square meters in 2017.

Robinsons Land entered the warehousing business by opening a logistics facility with 32,000 square meters of gross leasable area in the city of Muntinlupa. Go added that the company is planning to launch two more warehouse facilities in the province of Laguna.
