Yellow Hat Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to ¥99.91 per share, a decline of 6.5% from ¥106.84 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.31 billion, a decline from ¥2.42 billion in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 5.5% from 6.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 6.0% on an annual basis to ¥41.70 billion from ¥39.35 billion, and total operating expenses rose 7.1% year over year to ¥38.33 billion from ¥35.79 billion.
Reported net income decreased from the prior-year period to ¥2.36 billion, or ¥101.81 per share, from ¥2.38 billion, or ¥105.02 per share.
As of Feb. 6, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.01.
