DBRS assigns debt rating to Lloyds Banking Group

DBRS on Oct. 9 assigned Lloyds Banking Group Plc a R-1 (low) short-term debt rating, with a stable outlook, harmonizing the group's ratings with peers.

The agency confirmed the group's long- and short-term issuer ratings at A/R-1 (low) and its long-term senior debt at A.

Several other ratings of the group's units Lloyds Bank Plc and HBOS Plc as well as its unit Bank of Scotland Plc were confirmed.

The agency confirmed Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland's long- and short-term issuer ratings and deposit ratings at A (high)/R-1 (middle), their long-term senior debt of A (high) and the short-term debt at R-1(middle).

HBOS' long- and short-term issuer ratings were confirmed at A (high)/R-1 (low), its long-term senior debt at A (high) and short-term debt at R-1 (low).

The outlook on all ratings remained stable.
